AMWC in Cannes: event venues and a guide to the city

✨ AMWC moves to Cannes

After some twenty years at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress is moving to the Palais des Festivals for its 25th edition, from 1 to 3 April 2027. The organisers expect close to 18,000 attendees from 141 countries and more than 350 exhibitors. If your brand or lab plans to host clients, distributors or key opinion leaders around the congress, here is a guide to the city and eight venues for events in Cannes.

The good news for organisers: Cannes is small. The Palais, the restaurants, the rooftops and the private beaches are all within walking distance of each other, so a day at the congress can roll into a dinner and a cocktail without anyone getting in a car.

šŸ—ŗļø How Cannes works during AMWC

The Palais des Festivals and the Old Port

Everything starts at the Palais des Festivals, sitting between the Old Port to the west and the start of the Croisette to the east. The congress takes place here, and most business meetings orbit around it. Addresses within a ten-minute walk are the first to go during congress week.

Le Suquet, the old town

Right behind the Old Port, Le Suquet climbs the hill with cobbled lanes and restaurant terraces. It is the neighbourhood for small dinners and views over the bay, five minutes on foot from the Palais.

The station and rue d'Antibes

Cannes station is about a ten-minute walk from the Palais. In between runs rue d'Antibes, the main shopping street parallel to the seafront, lined with restaurants, bistros and private rooms that work well for a breakfast meeting or a working lunch.

The Croisette, all the way to Port Canto

The Croisette follows the sea for about two kilometres, from the Palais to Port Pierre Canto on the far side of the bay. Grand hotels, apartments with a view and private beaches line the way. The further east you go, the quieter it gets, which suits a cocktail with your feet in the sand.

āœˆļø Getting to Cannes, and on to Antibes or Nice

Nice CƓte d'Azur airport is about 27 km away. Allow around 30 minutes by taxi or ride-hail depending on traffic, about 45 minutes on express bus 81 from Terminal 2, or around 35 minutes by train, taking the tram to Nice AƩroport station and then a regional TER to Cannes. For guests short on time, a helicopter reaches the Cannes heliport in under ten minutes, and private jets land at Cannes-Mandelieu airport.

The TER also links Cannes to Antibes in around ten minutes and to Nice in roughly half an hour, which opens up accommodation and dinners along the whole French Riviera. Taxis are in high demand during the congress, so book your guests' transfers ahead.

šŸ½ļø Restaurants: full buyout, private room or group booking

There are three ways to set up a business dinner in Cannes. A full buyout gives your group the whole restaurant. A partial buyout gives you a dedicated room or area while the rest of the restaurant stays open. A group booking sets a menu and a time for your guests, seated among the other diners: the most flexible option when your guest list keeps changing until the last minute.
