How to Suggest one of your Venues to a Booker on Native Spaces

When you receive a request on Native Spaces but believe the booker might be more interested in another space, or if one of your other venues could be a better fit, you can easily suggest one or several of your spaces directly from the conversation with the booker.

This allows the client to quickly view the listing details and request a quote if they are interested.

How it works:

1. Access the request conversation

On your “My requests” page, open the message thread linked to the request. All communication with the booker happens inside this conversation.

From there, you can answer questions, send information, and suggest venues that fit the client’s needs.

2. Click on “Suggest a venue”

Inside the conversation, click the “Suggest a venue” button.

This will open a window displaying all the venues you have listed on Native Spaces.

3. Select the venues you want to propose

In the pop-up window, you can:

  • Browse all your available venues and open them in a new tab by clicking the icon on the right of each space
  • Select one or several spaces that fit the client’s request
  • Easily identify the selected venues, which will appear highlighted in light green

Once you have selected the spaces you want to propose, simply click “Send suggestion.”

4. Your suggestions appear in the chat

Once sent, the suggested venues will appear directly in the conversation thread with the booker.

From there, the booker can:

  • Click on the venue
  • View the full listing (photos, description, capacity, amenities, etc.)
  • Evaluate whether the space fits their event

If the venue interests them, they can request an estimation and submit a booking request directly through the venue form.

Tips for better suggestions

To increase your chances of securing the booking:

  • Carefully review the event type, guest count, and budget
  • Suggest venues that closely match the brief
  • Add a short message explaining why the venue fits the event

For example:

“This rooftop could be a great fit for your cocktail event for 80 guests. It offers an open terrace with sunset views and has hosted several corporate receptions.”

Thoughtful suggestions help clients make faster decisions.
