Native Spaces: Can you describe your venue?
Park Mougins: Our park is an event venue located 20 minutes from Nice Airport.
It’s a highly versatile space with 20,000 m² of outdoor areas and 1,500 m² of indoor spaces, featuring beautifully maintained gardens and lounges with varied styles. Among them, we have a 400 m² soundproofed lounge with stone walls, as well as a 250 m² lounge with a more classic design.
We can host all types of events, from weddings to corporate gatherings, with a capacity ranging from 20 to 1,500 people. Our style is "Provençal Chic." Unlike the glitzy image of the Croisette, we offer a more natural and elegant setting. Our listed caterers range from high-end names like Lenôtre and Potel & Chabot to equally prestigious local providers. Our goal is to make this venue known to local, national, and international clients.
Native Spaces: Why did you join Native Spaces?
Park Mougins: Native Spaces was one of the first listing platforms we joined. Their international and local reach is a real advantage. What attracted us most was the quality of the venues they feature—far superior to some other platforms. They are professional, and the inquiries we receive are always of high quality.
Native Spaces: What’s the history of Park Mougins?
Park Mougins: The first building on the estate, a small house at the entrance, dates back to 1815. Over time, several annexes were added under different owners, including an American in the 1920s—who was a friend of Charlie Chaplin—who hosted events here.
The venue later served as a hospital during the war before being acquired by a Parisian antiques dealer who filled it with artwork. For ten years, the Lenôtre House operated the site as a restaurant and event space. We took over two years ago with a different approach: we don’t provide in-house catering but work with top-tier caterers.
Native Spaces: Do you have a standout anecdote from an event held here?
Park Mougins: As we only opened a year and a half ago, we don’t yet have a long history of events. But one of the most memorable was the closing night of Les Étoiles de Mougins, the famous gastronomy festival. We hosted the official event in September 2024, welcoming 700 guests, including renowned chefs and local mayors.
Native Spaces: Is there a dream event you would love to host?
Park Mougins: A gala similar to those held at Cap Eden Roc would be incredible! In the past, there were also the Canal+ parties during the Cannes Film Festival, with 1,000 guests… Hosting an event of that scale would be an exciting challenge!
Native Spaces: How do you see your venue evolving in the coming years?
Park Mougins: We want to position ourselves even more as a high-end venue and host top-tier events. We’ve invested in improving our infrastructure and accessibility to attract an international clientele, whether for weddings or corporate events.
Native Spaces: What’s your favorite spot on the property?
Park Mougins: The Grand Bassin terrace! It’s the most open part of the estate, offering a beautiful view of the fountains. We recently added a floating platform in the water, which adds a unique touch for all types of events.
