Art Deco hotel in the centre of Nice

It was in the 19th century that Auguste Chauvain bought a newly constructed building and turned it into one of the first palaces: the Grand Hôtel Chauvain. It was on the terrace of this hotel that an English client fired the cannon at midday, which remained a tradition for the people of Nice.

Facing the water and greenery of the Promenade du Paillon, this hotel is at the heart of Nice's tourist and historical area.

Behind its majestic Art Deco facade, the hotel reveals a 1930s atmosphere bathed in golden light, and offers 149 contemporary rooms.
Upstairs, the décor is resolutely contemporary, reflecting the modernity of a leading, trendy tourist destination. White corridors lead to the fully refurbished rooms with their top-of-the-range facilities.

Our panoramic bar area, located on the 7th floor of the hotel, offers a breathtaking view of the sea, the Paillon promenade and the old town, which can be admired from the balcony or from the comfortable armchairs facing the large picture windows.

We have 5 rooms on the 1st floor with capacities ranging from 35 people to 80 people in theatre format.
