## 💫 How It All Started 💫

The Ethereum Community Conference (ETHCC), one of the major events in the European Web3 scene, took place in Cannes for the very first time. From **July 1st to 5th, 2025**, the city welcomed a wave of blockchain, finance, and crypto professionals.

During this week, Kraken — one of the **world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange platforms** — wanted to take advantage of having so many key players gathered in the same city to host an event that reflected their brand identity. Their Paris-based team reached out to Native Spaces with a clear goal: to create an exclusive moment for their clients and partners.

## 🌟 The Client’s Request 🌟

Kraken ultimately decided on a **cocktail reception**. The event needed to be held on a private beach or an outdoor rooftop located in the heart of Cannes. The challenge: finding a flexible venue that could host **up to 150 guests**, from noon to 10 PM, with high-quality services (catering, music, DJ set) and the possibility to include some branded elements.

Since the budget was shared between several partners, every aspect of the event had to be **optimized without compromising the brand image**. The challenge was therefore as much about logistics as it was about aesthetics.

After discussions, **the Kraken team agreed on** [a private beach on the Croisette](https://native-spaces.com/fr/venue/7291). Inspired by Vincent Darré’s universe and located just a few minutes from the Palais des Festivals, this venue instantly won them over. It offered a private beach, a terrace, and a restaurant, all in a modular setting. The location also made it possible to host a **DJ set** and incorporate branding to boost the event’s visibility.

The cocktail reception exceeded all expectations. Far more people than anticipated attended, a clear sign of the strong interest generated by the event. It unfolded in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. The Kraken team has already expressed interest in working with Native Spaces again for ETHCC 2026! A promising collaboration that’s just getting started.

The **Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity** is one of the most prestigious global events in advertising, marketing, tech, and media. Each year, it gathers thousands of professionals, brands, agencies, and platforms in Cannes for a week of conferences, networking, and private parties.

The 2025 edition took place from **June 16 to 20**. In this highly competitive context, **OpenX** wanted to stand out with a strategic venue. Their goal: bring together partners, VIP guests, and clients right in the heart of the action.

OpenX was looking for a venue just steps away from the Palais des Festivals to stay at the core of the event throughout the week. The goal was to find a **versatile apartment** that could host their team, provide space for business meetings, and allow for **evening cocktails**. The venue also needed to allow **discreet but visible branding**.

After exploring several options on the Croisette, Native Spaces recommended a **[240 m² penthouse with a terrace](https://native-spaces.com/venue/1549)** located in the heart of Cannes’ Golden Triangle.

This venue stood out immediately thanks to its **strategic advantages**:

* **Location** just steps from the Palais
* **Terrace overlooking the Croisette**
* **5 rooms that they were able to convert into meeting rooms**
* **Bright and modern interior design**
* **Easy access** for deliveries and guest arrivals

The apartment became OpenX’s basecamp for the week: some rooms were transformed into **private meeting spaces** for key conversations, while the living area hosted **cocktails and networking sessions** each evening. The **25 m² terrace**, overlooking one of the busiest festival zones, allowed for **high-visibility branding**, boosting OpenX’s presence among Cannes Lions attendees.

Just a short walk from every key festival location, the apartment offered the perfect mix of **prestige, practicality, and comfort**.

In this context, **Symbiotic** wanted to host a **high-end private party**, outside the official conference program at the Palais.

Symbiotic was looking for **a villa in Cannes** to host a relaxed evening, far from the formal conference setting. The goal was to create an atmosphere for **casual conversations** with colleagues and other ETHCC participants. They wanted a well-located venue with **a DJ, open bar, catering, discreet branding**, and enough room to host **around 100 guests**—without any logistical headaches or issues with the neighbors.

From the very first conversations, the Native Spaces team understood the essence of the event: a laid-back evening in a **welcoming and inspiring setting**.

**Several options** were explored before they found the perfect match: a [**historic villa**](https://native-spaces.com/venue/6320) hidden in the heart of Cannes. Once the royal stables of King George V, this venue checked all the boxes:

* A **tropical garden with a pool**
* A **vibrant atmosphere** ideal for social content
* **Modular open-air areas** to host the DJ, catering, furniture, and guests
* A **strategic location**, just minutes from the Croisette yet tucked away from the noise

Once confirmed, Native Spaces handled all coordination between the host and Symbiotic’s team, took care of logistics (goodie delivery, layout planning, tech schedule), selected the DJ, and advised on catering, bar service, and furniture rentals.

## **💫 How It All Began 💫**  

More and more brands are choosing to host their events outside major convention centers. Why? To offer their guests more personalized, immersive, and authentic experiences, away from traditional settings.  

With this in mind, luxury hotel chain Auberge Resorts Collection once again entrusted us with organizing two events this year. After a successful collaboration last year, they chose to work with us again to create even more memorable moments.  

## 🍹 **Two Visions, Two Events** 🍷  

This year, Auberge Resorts Collection envisioned two unique experiences:  

- **A lively and festive cocktail reception** for around a hundred guests, with a central theme: bringing Italy to the heart of Cannes.  
- **An exclusive and intimate dinner**, reserved for about fifty top executives, in a high-end setting.  

Each event had a clear vision and required venues that could bring these ideas to life.  

## 🏛️ **The Chosen Venues** 🏛️  

### 🍹 **For the Cocktail Reception**  

The perfect setting was found in [an Italian restaurant](https://native-spaces.com/venue/1398), ideally located just a five-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals, in the heart of Cannes’ Golden Square.  

To create a truly immersive experience, the Auberge Resorts Collection team wanted to transform the venue and transport guests straight to Italy.  

They brought this vision to life by recreating a traditional **buchetta del vino**, or Italian wine window—charming arched openings found in certain cities, originally built in the 16th century for wine sales.  

To achieve this, they installed a faux wall in front of one of the restaurant’s windows, complete with a small exterior bell. Guests could ring the bell and receive a glass of wine in return, recreating the magic of this historic tradition, which has recently made a comeback.  

Adding to the charm, the team introduced a classic artisanal ice cream cart. But instead of serving gelato, it featured a selection of local liqueurs, adding an unexpected and authentic Mediterranean twist.  

Guests were also treated to a unique menu, the result of a collaboration between an Italian chef and the restaurant’s French chef, blending traditional flavors from both countries.
