A fortified castle built in the thirteenth century, it will enhance your event thanks to its towers, its moat, its guardhouse and its rampart walk. Spaces and capacities

Ideal for entertaining up to 200 people seated, the Château's Archers Room will be the perfect setting for organizing your wedding meal. Dating from the thirteenth century, this vaulted room is located on the left when entering the courtyard, opposite the Renaissance Logis and is illuminated in the evening. Measuring approximately 200 m², it is partly covered with a short carpet and the other with a wooden floor used as a dance floor.

Located in the heart of a landscaped park with century-old trees, the castle gardens offer a beautiful contrast on the water of the Renaissance canals and the enclosed gardens of the Chartreuses dating from the 19th century.

History

Purchased by the Lords of Bigny in 1467, his descendants are still the owners of this private historic monument. Inside, you can discover the memories and traces of illustrious characters such as Louis XII, Anne of Brittany, Colbert, Marie-Antoinette and even Napoleon!
