12th-century medieval castle, listed as a historic monument

Not far from Béziers and Montpellier, on the slopes of the Haut Languedoc, in the heart of nature and 50 minutes from the sea, discover one of the region's most remarkable historic monuments to welcome your guests.

Built in the 12th century, and after 20 years of restoration, the château will be delighted to help you organise your reception.

Space and capacity
To give your reception the romantic feel of a most prestigious medieval celebration, the Château offers a number of spaces:

- The main hall and dance floor, formerly the estate's stables, will accommodate 130 guests, with a secluded area reserved for younger guests.
- The courtyard of honour can accommodate 120 guests for the secular ceremony. This open-air space is ideal for organising your reception on a warm summer's night. It can also be covered with a velum to protect against the elements.
- The farmyard can accommodate up to 500 guests or more. It will be the ideal place, in the shade of the walls, to host your cocktail party or your vin d'honneur under the walkway.
- The 3 adjoining cellars are the ideal place for a children's nursery during the reception.

Accommodation service
Get a taste of château life in one of the château's bedrooms. For a night, you can also offer your special guests an authentic setting by offering them the chance to sleep in the 11 beds in 7 rooms in the two gites in the medieval hamlet at the foot of the château.
There are also two other gîtes in the hamlet, sleeping 5 and 10 people, and a gîte d'étape that can accommodate 16 people at a reduced price.

2 kilometres from the estate, there is a large 16-person gîte in Valquières. 8 kilometres away, there is a hotel with 15 double rooms in a hamlet surrounded by nature. Finally, there are two hotels with 30 double rooms (preferential rate) in Mourèze, 20 minutes from the estate, and a new hotel of good standing (60 rooms) in Avène, also 20 minutes from the estate.
