Domaine de Valrose music room

The Domaine de Valrose, considered one of the most beautiful properties on the Riviera under the Second Empire, is today a university campus, seat of the Université Côte d'Azur and the Faculty of Sciences.
Classified as a Historic Monument, this exceptional site in the heart of an immense landscaped park constitutes one of the major elements of the Nice area, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Finely decorated with stucco and gilding, the Music Room has an exedra part pierced by three arched bays. The rotunda ceiling is superbly decorated with medallions with musical cherubs in high relief.
