Stroll around the countryside or take a bike or hire a vespa for a more active tour around the countryside. You can also book tasting tours for pineau de Charente (the local drink), wine and even foie gras.



Wild swimming in the lake or take a dip in the heated pool (May- Oct), play the piano in the purple salon, explore buzzy Bordeaux, only just over 1hr away, arrange a wine tour to St. Emilion or shop till you drop in nearby Angouleme .
