Welcome to our restored 18th/19th-century country estate near the medieval town of Côja in central Portugal, set within 60 hectares of gardens, meadows and private forest. Designed for comfort and flexibility, it blends heritage interiors with modern amenities and hosts your group in an elegant country house surrounded by nature.

What makes it unique?

Space and serenity. You’ll find multiple outdoor areas—terraces, garden dining under a centuries-old linden tree, forest clearings, a yoga platform, and a large “Games Field” for activities—plus characterful indoor rooms that reconfigure easily for talks, workshops or dinners. The aesthetic is warm and authentic: antique wood, handcrafted details and thoughtfully updated comforts. Evenings often flow from garden aperitifs to relaxed time by the firepit and starry skies.

Best suited for:

• Company events: offsites, strategy days and team building. The estate offers breakout nooks in nature, quiet rooms for focused work and generous common areas for connection. We also operate an on-site EV shuttle for station/airport pick-ups and local transfers.
• Intimate family & friends occasions: anniversaries, milestone birthdays or small gatherings seeking a private, comfortable home-base with room to roam and play.
• Workshops & retreats for coaches, companies, facilitators & wellness practitioners: purpose-built for seamless programme flow with many flexible indoor/outdoor spaces and quick reconfiguration for sessions. Our adaptable in-house team prepares each retreat exclusively for your group—planning, set-up and hosting included.

Capacity & sleeping options

The Country House has 7 bedrooms (max 16 guests). For additional capacity, we can add 5 furnished safari tents (typically configured for 16 people total) and open an on-site campsite with pre-set tents to scale up significantly for larger programmes. (Motorhome spaces are also possible.) This stepped approach lets organisers right-size sleeping to the event.

In case of rain

Everything outdoors has an indoor equivalent. Our flexible indoor spaces—dining room, salons and studios—switch quickly between ceremony, talk, workshop or open-plan social layouts. All games and activities have an indoor variant, so your schedule keeps flowing regardless of weather.

Design & comfort

Our interiors are deliberately timeless: heritage pieces, soft lighting and tactile materials paired with modern bedding, quality linens, intelligent lighting and USB charging. It feels like a discerning private home rather than a generic venue.

Activities & play

Use the Games Field and forest trails for team challenges, mindful walks, or a curated game circuit. The grounds invite movement and creativity; the garden terraces and outdoor kitchen platform suit tastings, demos and slow, shared meals.

Surroundings & acces

Between the Serra do Açor and Serra da Estrela, the area offers river beaches, waterfalls and quiet paths—perfect for low-key adventures woven into your programme. We can coordinate airport and rail transfers and handle local logistics so your group stays focused.

Cancellation Policy

Moderate: If the booker cancels up to 30 days before the event, they will be refunded 90% of the full price of the booking.

If the booker cancels between 14 and 30 days before the event, they will be refunded 50% of the full price of the booking.

If the booker cancels 14 days or less before the event, they will not receive a refund.
