The Domaine de Valrose, considered one of the most beautiful properties on the Riviera during the Second Empire, is today a university campus, seat of the Côte d'Azur University and the Faculty of Sciences.

The Belvedere Room is an octagonal, vaulted and bright room, which faces the entrance to the castle.
