Champagne House - Historic Crayère Gallery

Les Crayères (a 2,000-year-old former chalk quarry) in the heart of the Marne in Châlons-en-Champagne is one of the Côteaux, Maisons et Caves de Champagne listed as a unesco World Heritage Site. They have been producing and ageing Champagne since 1804. Our House offers a number of different areas for hire, as well as the possibility of organising tailor-made events around Champagne and beyond.

One of the underground entrances to our chalk pits has been converted to welcome you in a unique and totally atypical space. Covering an area of 150 m², this one-piece room is fitted with Inverter air-conditioning to regulate the temperature according to your wishes. A second area, "Cuverie Balincourt", is also available for hire, with a surface area of 120 m², including a "Café Barrista" area. Our 30 m² Lobby is an integral part of our rentals and is complemented by PRM toilets.

The total surface area available for rental is 300 m² indoors.

During the summer season, you can also rent our terrace (200 m²) and pergola.

Hire can be complemented by a range of tailor-made experiences (tours of the production site and chalk pits, champagne tasting workshops, sabrage, food and champagne pairings, etc.).
