Digiday has been covering Cannes Lions for years. As a media brand, they don't just report on the week, they host it. Their model is deliberate: bring together a select group of senior marketing and media leaders for a private meal, away from the noise, and let the conversation do the work. The right people around the right table, sharing candid views over a good lunch or dinner.

For Cannes Lions 2026, their GM of Events came with a clear brief: six private dining moments across the week, each fully privatised, each with its own format and feel. Native Spaces sourced, negotiated and confirmed all six.

---

## 📋 **The brief**

- 3 private dinners: champagne cocktail hour followed by a full seated dinner with premium drinks
- 2 private brunches for 25 guests: full privatisation with a complete breakfast spread and champagne
- 1 private lunch
- All restaurants within walking distance of the Palais des Festivals and La Croisette

---

## 🍷 A **private dinner to open the week**

For the Monday evening, Digiday privatised a [private room with city and sea views](https://native-spaces.com/venue/private-room-with-terrace-for-events-in-cannes-7714) for their 20 guests. The space is a private room inside a restaurant, with its own outdoor terrace, modern and authentic in feel, a few minutes from La Croisette and the sea.

The format was a proper dinner: a champagne cocktail to welcome guests, followed by a seated menu with starter, main and dessert, and a premium drinks package throughout. The kind of evening that sets the right tone for the week ahead.

## 🥐 **Back-to-back morning brunches**

For Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, Digiday came back to the same venue: a [bistro-style restaurant in the heart of Cannes](https://native-spaces.com/venue/friendly-venue-cannes-professional-events-gatherings-8202), a three-minute walk from the station, with both an indoor room and a sunny terrace.

The brief for both days was a full privatisation from 10:30am to 12:30pm, with a generous morning spread: mini viennoiseries, bread with butter and jam, scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado toast, cheese and charcuterie platters, plus an open bar of hot drinks and fresh juices. Champagne added to both.

On Wednesday, Digiday moved to a second venue for their brunch: a [cozy bistronomic restaurant](https://native-spaces.com/venue/cozy-restaurant-near-palais-cannes-events-90-guests-1470) 500m from the Palais des Festivals and 200m from La Croisette. The same format, different energy.

## **✨ How It Came Together**

Six dining events in one week, and a single team behind all of them. Native Spaces sourced every venue, negotiated the rates directly with each restaurant, and absorbed the back-and-forth so Liz didn't have to. Everything then ran through the platform: briefs, quotes, confirmations, contracts and payments in one place. One point of contact instead of six, one administrative trail instead of six. Once each booking was confirmed, she was connected directly with the host.

Six Private Dining Events Across Cannes Lions Week

Cannes Lions isn't just a conference. For the companies who show up, the whole week is an opportunity to host, to connect, to make a mark beyond the sessions at the Palais. AirOps, an AI platform for marketing and revenue teams, approached it exactly that way.

They came with two needs: a space where they could host a proper networking cocktail, and somewhere for the team to actually stay and decompress between the days. Native Spaces helped them sort both.

---

## 📋 **The brief**

AirOps needed a sea-facing venue for a panel and an evening networking cocktail for around 50 guests, with space for a branded merch activation on-site, plus accommodation for the team across the full Lions week, all walkable from the Palais des Festivals.

---

## 🏖️ **The event: a private beach on the Cannes seafront**

For the panel followed by a cocktail, AirOps semi-privatised a section of a [private beach on Boulevard Jean Hibert](https://native-spaces.com/venue/sea-view-private-beach-cannes-ideal-weddings-sunset-events-413), a 12-minute walk from the Palais. The venue has been a Cannes institution since 1928: golden sand, panoramic sea views across to the Lérins Islands and the Esterel massif, and a relaxed, family-run atmosphere.

The group had a dedicated outdoor area with built-in AV (microphone, speakers, screen) and this is where the panel took place, with the sea directly behind the speakers. A format that usually happens in a meeting room, held outdoors instead. Guests stayed in the same space as the evening moved into the cocktail: a 3-hour open bar with canapés, and full branding on-site.

The Native Spaces team went on-site ahead of the event to make sure everything was running smoothly and to help bridge any language barrier with the venue.

Beyond the venue itself, Native Spaces also helped coordinate the service providers around the event: a chauffeur for the evening, a DJ, and a France-based goodies and merchandising contact to supply the branded tote bags and iron-on patches for the customisation station.

## 🏡 **The accommodation: two Cannes addresses for the team**

The team spread across two properties for the week.

The first was the [Creative Loft with Garden](https://native-spaces.com/venue/creative-loft-garden-cannes-events-25-guests-2002): a character-filled 1925 property with five bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a garden terrace that seats 30, and a small pool, about a 15-minute walk from La Croisette.

The second was an Industrial Loft with a Sea View Terrace, a top-floor apartment on Boulevard d'Alsace with four en-suite bedrooms, a large south-facing terrace with sweeping views across the sea, and a 7-minute walk to the Palais.

## **✨ How It Came Together**

Between the private beach panel and cocktail and the two team houses, AirOps had a complete Cannes Lions setup.

Ally shared this feedback mid-week, while the events were still running: "Everything is going so well this week. Thanks for everything.”

Private Beach Cocktail & Team Accommodation during Cannes Lions

For the team behind AI Trailblazers, Cannes Lions week was a chance to do something bigger than attend the festival. They wanted to host their own summit: a curated lunch and panel discussion for an audience of Fortune 500 CMOs.

Finding the right space in Cannes during Lions week, at short notice, with a clear brief around panel setup, F&B, and branding, was the challenge. Native Spaces handled it.

## 📋 The brief

AI Trailblazers needed a fully privatised venue for around 50 guests, with a proper panel setup (stage area, seated audience) plus a light lunch with sparkling wine, branding capability on-site (signage and banners), and a location within easy reach of the Palais.

## 🏛️ The chosen venue: a villa near La Croisette

AI Trailblazers ended up in a spacious villa: 1,500 sqm in total, a six-minute walk from La Croisette and 15 minutes from the Palais. Floor-to-ceiling french doors flood the main entertaining space with natural light, a terrace overlooks the gardens and pool, and the indoor space seats up to 70 guests in a theatre-style setup.

The panel took place in a 65 sqm living area spread over two adjoining rooms, with the garden and pool just outside. It gave the session a much warmer feel than a classic conference room, and the separate access for the production team plus parking for 4–5 cars made the day easy to run.

Once the panel wrapped, the whole event moved outside. Guests spread across the garden and around the pool for the networking session, with a DJ set and catering.

## ✨ How it came together

Once the venue was confirmed, the AI Trailblazers team was connected directly with the host to finalise F&B, branding, chair setup, and on-site logistics; everything coordinated through a single point of contact.

Shiv Singh, Co-Founder of AI Trailblazers, summed it up when the booking was confirmed: "We're excited about the space and are hopeful it'll serve as a great setting for our summit."

## **💫 How It All Began**

💫 **When a team flies in from across the world, the last evening together is the one everyone remembers.** More and more companies are choosing a venue with real character for it: in this case, a genuine Parisian apartment. The intimacy of a dinner at home, the elegance of an exceptional interior, and a private setting few addresses can offer.

That was exactly the thinking behind this booking. The Netflix team was bringing 25 people together in Paris for their annual offsite, and wanted to round it off with a dinner that felt unmistakably Parisian.

## **📋 The Brief**

- 25 guests, a team spread across the globe, in Paris for their annual offsite
- A central location, close to Opéra, with a little flexibility on travel time
- A relaxed, convivial dinner rather than a formal venue: the feel of a close friend hosting you at home for a beautiful dinner
- The freedom to choose the format, from a seated dinner to canapés and cocktails
- Music, at an easy dinner-party volume
- An evening that runs late

## 🥂 The Chosen Venue: a 180m² Apartment in Le Marais

[**Discover our Paris venues for private dinners and team offsites →**](https://native-spaces.com/search/seminar/paris)

We proposed a 180m² apartment set inside a Régence-style townhouse, right in Le Marais and a few minutes from Opéra. A genuine Parisian apartment, full of character: 18th-century wood panelling, oak parquet, black marble and gilded detailing, all lifted by high ceilings and natural light.

What made it the right fit is that it lends itself to any format. The layout is modular: the apartment can host a seated dinner for the 25 guests, a more relaxed gathering around the lounges and living areas, or a cocktail evening where everyone moves freely from room to room. A 35m² terrace opens off the back, perfect for stepping out for some air with a glass in hand, and music is welcome at an easy dinner-party volume.

## **✨ How It Came Together**

This one was hands-on from our side. We pulled together a shortlist of apartments that fit the brief, arranged viewings around the team's schedule while they were in Paris, and answered every question on terms, timings and logistics as it came up. The decision was easy, and the booking quick.
